Elaine Grant

Executive Director

​​Elaine Grant studied at Villanova University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in modern languages and international business.  She began her professional banking career in 1986 at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company and continued her career at its successor organizations, Chemical Bank, Chase Manhattan and JP Morgan Chase in the corporate finance division in both New

York and Madrid for over 10 years.  As part of her bank training, she completed the management training program and earned her Series 7 & 63.  Elaine left banking to stay at home with her children and became an active volunteer within the Stamford Public School System.  AS PTO and PT Council president she ran many fundraising campaigns and wrote a grant which resulted in a new media center in an elementary school.  She was appointed to the State of Connecticut’s Educational Professional Standards Board by the CT Speaker of the House and served for four years.  She was an active volunteer at Greenwich Academy where her children attended high school.  In 2010 she was named the Development Director at Saint Joseph Parenting Center, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect.  She became the Director of Development at the YMCA of Greenwich in 2015, a position she held until March 2022.  Elaine is the mother of two adult daughters and she is fluent in Spanish.
