She has been active in her local community volunteering for many years including serving on the Parents Association Board for Greenwich Academy and Brunswick School and as a Past-President of the GA Parent Board.
Lynn is currently serving on the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research Patient Council and has served on the Board for the American Heart Association Southern Fairfield County, Breast Cancer Alliance, and the Alzheimer’s Association, CT Chapter Board.
Lynn was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2010 and soon after her mother was also diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. In 2014, she cofounded a Parkinson’s disease support/networking group in New Canaan YMCA called “Shaker’s Anonymous” that currently has over 500 members. In addition, in 2018 she saw a need for an exercise and wellness program for people with PD and cofounded the Parkinson’s Body and Mind INC (PBM).

With a BSN in Nursing, Lynn has had experience as a registered nurse caring for patients in cardiac and medical surgical critical care units. She has worked as a pharmaceutical representative for GD Searle and Bristol Meyers Squibb as a hospital representative.
